Just when most reasonable people thought the Eurovison could not get any lower, this year's entry from Moldova sets a new standard as Alexandru Bognibov sings "I love girls of 13 years old, 13 years old and nothing else".
"Although it initially sounded like something Borat would sing, TeleRadio Moldova and OGAE Moldova officials assured reporters that Bognibov was serious and that his declaration of child-love was not intended as parody. Unlike the faux-Kazakhstan newsman and his song "Throw the Jew down the Well", Alexandru Bognibov's celebration of underage sex is not satirical".
And in case you wonder, the music is awful too - don't listen to it at the end of the article !
